Well it’s a new year and we’re still talking about the Roadless Rule.

When the Roadless Rule was introduced in 2001, the Forest Service held more than 600 public meetings nationwide to get community input. Now that it’s at risk of being rescinded? 0 public meetings.

We’re not okay with that.

Stop if you’ve heard this before: Sen. Steve Daines is trying to strip protections from over 100,000 acres of Montana’s public lands. 

That’s right – he just reintroduced his bill to remove protections from the Middle Fork Judith, Hoodoo Mountain, and Wales Creek wilderness study areas. 

❌ It’s not about managing our lands for public benefit. It’s about creating a future where public lands serve private interests. That’s not a future we’ll accept.
